Illustration for Crown Minerals Act 1991

When the Ministers want you to provide an outgoing guarantee, they give you a notice. The notice tells you what the guarantee must be, like who must provide it or how much money is involved. You have to follow what the notice says.

If you do not provide the guarantee as stated in the notice under section 41I(2), the Minister might not give their consent under section 41 or 41AE. The Ministers can decide what they want the guarantee to be. They send you a notice to tell you what they want.
