If you have to decommission something, you must submit a subpart 2 decommissioning plan to the chief executive. You do this at certain times, like when something specific happens, or when the Minister asks you to. The Minister will tell you how long you have to submit the plan.

You need to include some important details in your subpart 2 decommissioning plan. This includes what you plan to do to decommission, how you will do it, and when you will do it. Your plan must be accurate and have the right information in it.

When you submit your plan, it must meet certain requirements, which might include having specific information in it. You can find out more about what is required in a subpart 2 decommissioning plan.
