When you need to give a notice or document to a group, you can give it to one of the group's officers or send it to their main office, as explained in section 96. You do this to make sure the group gets the notice or document. If the group is a partnership, you can give the notice or document to any one of the partners, following the same rules as in section 96.

When you serve a notice or document, you must follow the rules set out in section 96 to make sure it is done correctly. You can serve the document on an officer of the group or send it to their main office. This applies to both groups that are incorporated and those that are not.
