You have an endorsement to have a pistol, restricted weapon, or prohibited firearm. You must show it to a Police officer if they ask. You must also let the Police officer check the weapon and where you keep it. The Police officer must tell you who they are and why they are checking your weapon. If they are not in uniform, they must show you proof that they are a Police officer. You must let the Police officer into your home to check the weapon if they need to.
