Illustration for Arms Act 1983

If you have a firearms licence that is temporarily suspended under section 60A, a Police officer can revoke your licence. They can do this if they consider what you say about why your licence should not be revoked. They must also be satisfied that your licence should be revoked. If a Police officer decides to revoke your suspended firearms licence, they must tell you in writing. They have to do this as soon as they make the decision. You will get written notice from the Police about their decision on your suspended firearms licence.
