Illustration for Arms Act 1983

If your dealer's licence is suspended, the Arms Act 1983 applies as if you are not allowed to do any dealer activities. You cannot carry on or help with any dealer activities, and neither can your employees. When your licence is suspended, a Police officer can ask you to hand over your licence, all firearms, and all ammunition you have. If you do not give the Police your firearms or ammunition, they can take them from you.
