97AOutline of this subpart

  1. This subpart—

  2. provides for the development, making, and ongoing review of the National Engineering Design Standards (the NEDS) that contain performance-based requirements relating to the water services infrastructure that makes up a water services network; and
    1. provides for compliance with the NEDS by water service providers; and
      1. provides for national codes of practice that water service providers may use to comply with the NEDS; and
        1. allows water service providers to approve alternative ways of complying with the NEDS.
