The Water Services Authority must give you an identity card if you are a compliance officer. This card states your name and that you are a compliance officer. It also includes other information as prescribed by regulations made under section 200. When you use your compliance powers, you must show your identity card if someone asks to see it. You need to carry this card with you when you are working as a compliance officer. If you stop being a compliance officer, you must return your identity card to the Water Services Authority as soon as possible.
