Illustration for Water Services Act 2021

The chief executive can issue a warning about certain water services infrastructure or a method related to it. You might get a warning if the chief executive thinks something has gone wrong or might go wrong with the water services infrastructure. This could be because a requirement of the NEDS has not been met. The chief executive can issue a warning about things like how water services infrastructure is connected, operated, constructed, or repaired. They can also issue a warning about specific types of water services infrastructure, like ones with certain features or designs, or ones that are connected or operated in a certain way, as mentioned in sections 97R and 97S.
