11Meaning of operator

  1. In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, operator, in relation to a drinking water supply,—

    1. means the person who operates the supply or supervises its operation or aspects of its operation; and
      1. includes an organisation or individual involved in the operation of a drinking water supply if the organisation or individual is authorised or included on a register in accordance with regulations made under section 200.
