85Effect of appointment

  1. If a person is appointed under section 83,—

  2. that person has all the drinking water supplier’s functions and duties specified in the appointment, and the powers necessary to perform those functions or duties, as if they had been imposed or conferred on that person directly by this Act and not by the appointment; and
    1. this Act applies accordingly.
