92: Stay of reviewable decision on internal review

"Stopping a decision while it's being reviewed"

Illustration for Water Services Act 2021

If you ask for an internal review of a decision, the Water Services Authority may stop the decision from being carried out. The Water Services Authority can do this on their own or because you asked them to. They must make a decision about stopping the original decision within three working days of getting your request. If the Water Services Authority does not make a decision within three working days, it is like they said yes to stopping the original decision. A stop on the original decision keeps going until the reviewer makes a decision on your internal review. You can find more information about this by looking at the Water Services Act 2021 and other related laws.
