Drinking water supply register

54Application to register drinking water supply

  1. An application to register a drinking water supply must be in an approved form.

  2. The application must include the following information:

  3. the legal name and contact details of the owner of the drinking water supply, and the owner’s trading name (if applicable):
    1. the location of the drinking water supply, including, if applicable, the location of each abstraction point for the drinking water supply:
      1. the area the drinking water supply supplies:
        1. the estimated number of consumers:
          1. a description of the drinking water supply:
            1. the legal name and contact details of the drinking water supply operator (if different from the owner), and the operator’s trading name (if applicable):
              1. the information that relates to the authorisation of the operator of the drinking water supply (if any):
                1. any other information prescribed by the Water Services Authority by notice in the Gazette.

                  1. The information required by subsection (2) must be provided in accordance with any requirements specified by the Water Services Authority by notice in the Gazette.

                  2. The application must be accompanied by the fee or levy (if any) prescribed in regulations made under section 200 or 201.

                  3. The Water Services Authority must register the supply within 20 working days after receiving the application unless the Water Services Authority considers that the application is incomplete or requires amendment.
