You need to know about wastewater network risk management plans. A wastewater network operator must prepare and implement a risk management plan for their wastewater network. This plan must identify hazards, assess risks, and explain how to manage those risks. You should understand that the plan must also include environmental performance measures made by the Water Services Authority. The operator must provide a draft plan to the Water Services Authority within a certain time frame. They must then develop a final plan that considers any comments from the Water Services Authority. The operator must review their plan every 5 years and provide the updated plan to the Water Services Authority as soon as possible. The Water Services Authority will notify the time frames for providing the plans in the Gazette. The operator must follow these time frames to provide their draft and final plans.
