When a supplier provides regulated goods or services, the Commission can decide the price-quality path for that supplier. The Commission can use any process it likes to make this decision, but it must follow the input methodologies that apply to those goods or services. You can find more information about this in subpart 6, which includes sections 53M and 53N, as well as section 53ZB.

The Commission's decision about the price-quality path will affect the supplier and the goods or services they provide. The Commission must consider the input methodologies when making its decision. This means the Commission will look at the methods used to supply the goods or services.

If individual price-quality regulation is imposed on a supplier, certain provisions will apply to them, including sections 53M and 53N, and section 53ZB, which can be found in subpart 6.
