A law called the Commerce Act 1986 has a part about something called provisional authorisations. You can find this part in section 71 of the act. This section was repealed, which means it is no longer part of the law, on 14 October 2008, by a change made through the Commerce Amendment Act 2008, which you can read more about by following the link to section 8 of that act.
