The law says regulations can be made to charge levies. You might wonder what a levy is - it's a fee to help pay for something. These levies help pay for the Commerce Commission's work under this part of the law, and for collecting the levy money. The regulations are made under a part of the law called section 53ZE. If levies are charged, the rules in section 53ZE apply, similar to how they apply to Part 4 of the law. This means the same rules are used to work out how the levies are collected and used.
