Public Works Act 1981

Compensation - The award

92: Costs in claims beyond jurisdiction of Land Valuation Tribunal

You could also call this:

“Who pays for costs if the Land Valuation Tribunal can't decide your claim”

If you bring a claim for compensation to the Land Valuation Tribunal, but it turns out that the Tribunal doesn’t have the power to decide on your claim or part of it, the Tribunal can still decide who should pay for the costs of the case. This is just like when they decide on compensation claims they can handle. If the Tribunal says you should get money for costs, you’ll get that money in the same way as you would get compensation.
