Public Works Act 1981

Irrigation

195A: Application of Part 19 of Public Works Act 1981

You could also call this:

“Rules for government-owned irrigation projects”

This part of the law is about irrigation schemes. It only applies to irrigation schemes that the government owns or is building. It also applies to irrigation schemes that the government has promised to build. However, it doesn’t apply to irrigation schemes that the government has sold or given away to someone else under Part 1 of the Irrigation Schemes Act 1990. This means that if the government has sold an irrigation scheme, these rules don’t apply to it anymore.
