Public Works Act 1981

Irrigation

200: Notification of investigation of proposed irrigation scheme

You could also call this:

“You must be told if someone wants to create a new irrigation system in your area”

If the government, a local council, or a water management group wants to look into setting up a new irrigation system, they need to tell everyone about it. They have to do this as soon as they can after they start looking into it. They also need to tell everyone about it again every year until they finish looking into it or decide not to do it anymore. This way, you and everyone else can know what’s happening with plans for new irrigation in your area.
