Irrigation

206: Publication of proposal to take a poll

You could also call this:

“Telling people about a vote to create a new irrigation area”

If someone wants to create an irrigation district, they need to let people know about it. The Minister or the local authority will put a notice in a newspaper that people in the area read. This notice will tell you when and where you can vote on whether you want the irrigation district. The newspaper will reach all the places where the new irrigation district might be set up. This way, everyone who might be affected can find out about the vote and have their say.
