Part 5 Compensation
The award

102Funds from which compensation to be paid

  1. Money payable as compensation or as costs under this Act shall—

  2. if payable by the Crown, be paid out of money appropriated by Parliament for the works in respect of which the claim for compensation arises:
    1. if payable by a local authority, be paid out of the funds of such local authority available for such purposes—
        1. but no member of a local authority shall be personally liable for any compensation or costs payable under this Act.
