27Purpose

  1. The purpose of this Part is to state conduct that is or is not permissible in relation to a species of animal or animals used for certain purposes—

  2. by prohibiting certain types of conduct; and
    1. by controlling the use and sale of traps and devices used to kill, manage, entrap, capture, entangle, restrain, or immobilise an animal.
