169BOffence of contravening disqualification order
A person commits an offence if the person contravenes a disqualification order made under section 169(3) (under which provision a court can make an order relating to an animal or animals of a particular kind or description or to animals generally).
A person who commits an offence against subsection (1) is liable on
conviction,—- in the case of an individual, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years or to a fine not exceeding $75,000 or to both:
- in the case of a body corporate, to a fine not exceeding $350,000.
In subsection (1), order includes an order varied under section 169A.
