Animal Welfare Act 1999

Provisions relating to administration - Enforcement orders

155: Effect of appeal

You could also call this:

"What happens when you appeal an animal welfare order"

If you appeal an enforcement order, the order still applies unless the court says otherwise. You can still be made to follow the order even if you are waiting for the appeal to be decided. The enforcement order can be enforced in the same way as if no appeal was happening, according to section 153 or section 154.
