If you are not present when an inspector enters your land, premises, or place, or your vehicle, aircraft, or ship, they must leave a written note. This note tells you when they entered, why they entered, and what they found. It also tells you if they took any animals away, who the inspector is, and where you can go to ask questions, which is the Police station or another office.
