140Injured and sick marine mammals

  1. If an inspector, auxiliary officer, or veterinarian finds a severely injured or sick marine mammal, the inspector, auxiliary officer, or veterinarian, as the case may be, must, as soon as possible, report the matter to a Marine Mammals Officer declared or appointed as such under section 11 of the Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978 to be dealt with under that Act.
