87Codes of ethical conduct
Any person referred to in subsection (2) may apply to the Director-General for approval of a code of ethical conduct in relation to the use of animals.
The persons are—
- any person who—
- is engaged in, or wishes to be engaged in, research, testing, or teaching; and
- wishes to use animals in that research, testing, or teaching:
- is engaged in, or wishes to be engaged in, research, testing, or teaching; and
- any person who—
- is not directly engaged in research, testing, or teaching; but
- wishes to enable a teaching organisation to use animals in research, testing, or teaching.
- is not directly engaged in research, testing, or teaching; but
