An inspector can give you a compliance notice. This notice can tell you to stop doing something that might break the Animal Welfare Act or any rules made under it. It can also tell you not to start or repeat something that might break the Act or rules.

The notice can stop you from getting someone else to do something that might break the Act or rules. It can also stop you from getting someone else to repeat something that might break the Act or rules. The inspector can tell you to do something to make sure you follow the Act or rules.

You can compare this to s 154 to see how it fits with other parts of the law. The inspector has the power to give you a compliance notice if they think you might be breaking the Animal Welfare Act. They want to make sure you treat animals well and follow the rules.
