Conservation Act 1987

Concessions

17R: Applications for leases, licences, etc

You could also call this:

"Applying to use conservation areas"

You can apply to the Minister for a concession to do something in a conservation area. You do this by making an application to the Minister. The Minister will then consider your application.

If the Minister has already started a process under section 17ZG(2)(a) that is about your application, you must not apply for a concession. This is because your application would not be consistent with the process the Minister has started. You need to wait until the Minister's process is finished before you can apply.
