Conservation Act 1987

44A: Sentence of community work

You could also call this:

"Helping the community as a punishment for breaking conservation rules"

If you are found guilty of breaking a rule in the Conservation Act 1987, a court can give you a sentence of community work. This means you will have to do some work to help the community. The rules about community work are explained in Part 2 of the Sentencing Act 2002, and these rules apply to you with a few changes. You will have to follow these rules as part of your sentence.
