Conservation Act 1987

Miscellaneous

35: Local authority contributions

You could also call this:

"Councils helping to protect conservation areas"

You can think of a local authority like a council that helps run your city or town. A local authority can use some of its money to help manage, improve, or maintain a conservation area. This can happen even if the conservation area is not in the local authority's district.
