26BEstablishment and powers of New Zealand Fish and Game Council
There is hereby established a council to be called the New Zealand Fish and Game Council to represent nationally the interests of anglers and hunters and provide co-ordination of the management, enhancement, and maintenance of sports fish and game.
The New Zealand Fish and Game Council shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal, and, except as provided in this Act, shall have—
- the rights, powers, and privileges of a natural person; and
- the power to do anything it is authorised to do by or under—
- this Act; or
- any other enactment; or
- any rule of law.
- this Act; or
The New Zealand Fish and Game Council shall not exercise any of its rights, powers, or privileges except for the purpose of performing its functions.
