Conservation Act 1987

Miscellaneous

29: Management agreements

You could also call this:

“Agreements to protect special New Zealand places”

The Minister can make an agreement with someone to help look after a special natural or historic place on their land. You might wonder what kind of place this could be - it could be a forest, a mountain, or a special site that is important to New Zealand’s history. The Minister gets to decide what the agreement says and what rules the person has to follow to help with the conservation.
