Conservation Act 1987

Concessions

17S: Contents of application

You could also call this:

"What to include when applying for a concession"

When you apply for a concession, your application must include some important information. You need to describe the activity you want to do and where you plan to do it. You also need to think about how your activity might affect the environment and what you can do to reduce any negative effects.

You must tell the Minister what type of concession you are applying for and how long you want it to last. You also need to explain why you want the concession for that amount of time. The Minister wants to know about you and whether you are able to carry out the activity you are proposing.

If you are asking for a lease, licence, or easement, you need to give the Minister good reasons why you need it and provide enough information to show that it is lawful and appropriate to grant it, as stated in section 17U.
