26Z: Conduct of elections

26ZConduct of elections

  1. The election of members of Fish and Game Councils must be conducted—

  2. using either of the following methods of voting:
    1. postal voting:
      1. a combination of electronic voting and postal voting; and
      2. in accordance with regulations made under section 48.

        2. The second election of members of each Fish and Game Council shall be held by that Council 3 years after the date of the first election of members of that Council, and subsequent elections shall be held every third year thereafter.

        3. At every election of members of a Fish and Game Council at least 1 member shall be elected for each subregion of the Council.
