Conservation Act 1987

Control of dogs

26ZZI: Requirements in relation to dog control permits

You could also call this:

"Rules for getting a permit to have a dog in certain areas"

When the Director-General is deciding about dog control permits under section 26ZZH, you need to know they look at matters in sections 26ZV to 26ZX. The Director-General will not give you a dog control permit unless they are satisfied that you really need a dog for what you want to do. They also need to be satisfied that what you want to do is lawful and does not go against the reasons the land is being used or any conservation plans.
