Infringement offences: Control of dogs
51MOffences relating to controlled dog areas and open dog areas
An owner or a person in charge of a dog must not allow the dog to enter or remain in any part of a controlled dog area, unless the person—
- is allowed to do so by a dog control permit issued under section 26ZZH; and
- complies with the permit.
A person in charge of a dog in a controlled dog area must keep the dog under the person’s control.
An owner or a person in charge of a dog in a controlled dog area or an open dog area must not contravene any condition imposed in relation to that controlled dog area or open dog area under section 26ZU(c).
A person who fails to comply with this section commits an infringement offence.
