Sports Fish and Game Councils - Fish and Game Councils

26X: Annual report

You could also call this:

"Fish and Game Councils must give the Minister a yearly report on what they did."

Each Fish and Game Council must give the Minister a report on what they did during the year. You will see this report after the end of each financial year. The report is about the Council's operations for that year.

If the Minister has approved a policy under section 26HA(2), the report must include some extra information. The report must say what powers the Council used to enforce the Conservation Act or the Wildlife Act 1953. It must also say if anyone complained about the Council using these powers.

The Minister must give a copy of the report to the House of Representatives, following section 150(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004. You can find this in the Crown Entities Act 2004. The report is presented in accordance with this section.
