“Computer system used to decide if you can enter New Zealand before you travel”

The chief executive can make decisions about letting you enter New Zealand using a computer system. This system looks at information about you that the chief executive has or can access. The computer uses rules that the chief executive has set up beforehand to make these decisions. This process is used when checking passengers before they travel to New Zealand. The chief executive can use this system for decisions under section 97(1) or section 97A(1) of the law.
