91: Expiry of transit period
or “How an immigration officer can change or end your transit period”

You could also call this:

“How to show interest in applying for certain visas”

If you want to apply for certain types of visas, you might need to be invited first. This is because some visas are only for specific groups of people. If you’re in one of these groups, you can let the government know you’re interested in getting an invitation. You do this by sending an ‘expression of interest’.

When you send your expression of interest, you need to do it in the way the government has said to do it. This is called the ‘prescribed manner’.

You also need to give two important pieces of information. First, you need to provide an address where people can contact you. Second, you need to give an address where official papers can be sent to you. This is called your ‘address for service’.
