281: Power to require information from person liable for deportation or turnaround

281Power to require information from person liable for deportation or turnaround

  1. Where a person is liable for deportation or turnaround, an immigration officer may require the person to—

  2. do any of the things in section 280(1); and
    1. produce and surrender any travel tickets, or cash or security in lieu of travel tickets, held by the person.
