454: Arrangements under former Act for disclosure of immigration information

You could also call this:

“Continuing old agreements for sharing immigration information under the new law”

This section is about what happens to arrangements for sharing immigration information that were made before the new law came into effect. If the person in charge of immigration or the Secretary of Labour made an agreement with any group or person to share immigration information under the old law, and that agreement was still active when the new law started, it will continue to work under the new law. You should think of these old agreements as if they were made under the new rules for sharing information. The agreements will keep working as they did before, but they might need some small changes to fit with the new law. This helps make sure that important information-sharing can continue smoothly even when the laws change.
