Immigration Act 2009

Deportation - Liability for deportation

166: Limitation on deportation of diplomats, etc

You could also call this:

“Diplomats and consular officials are protected from deportation”

You cannot be deported under this law if you have immunity from jurisdiction under the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Act 1968 or the Consular Privileges and Immunities Act 1971. However, this protection doesn’t apply to certain people mentioned in section 10D(2)(d) of the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Act 1968. This rule applies no matter what other parts of the law say about deportation.
