71Requirement to undertake emergency management functions and responsibilities

  1. This section applies to any person who is required by this Act or regulations, or any emergency management plan, to undertake emergency management or to perform any functions or duties, including, without limitation, the following persons:

    1. Emergency Management Committees:
      1. local authorities:
        1. emergency services:
          1. essential infrastructure providers.

            1. A person to whom this section applies must take all necessary steps to undertake emergency management or to perform their functions or duties as required.
