If you are on an Emergency Management Committee, you can include other written material in your regional emergency management plan by referencing it. You can do this if the material is too big or not practical to include in the plan itself. This referenced material is considered part of the plan. When you reference material, any changes to it must be approved under this Act to be part of the plan. You can approve changes and they take effect on a date you specify. You must put a notice about the change on the internet site where the plan is published. All the material you reference must be available on an internet site that you maintain or someone maintains for you.
