133Power to examine, seize, destroy and undertake other activities in relation to property and things
A specified person may examine, mark, seize, take a sample from, secure, disinfect, or destroy 1 or more of the following:
- any property:
- an animal:
- any other thing.
The person may take the action authorised in subsection (1) if the person believes on reasonable grounds that the action is necessary to do 1 or more of the following:
- limit or reduce the extent of the applicable emergency:
- prevent potentially negative effects of the applicable emergency.
