If a Minister wants to change or replace a national emergency management strategy, they must follow some steps. You will see the proposed changes in the Gazette and maybe other places too. The Minister will ask for your thoughts on the changes. The Minister must give people time to think about the changes and say what they think. They will also talk to people who might be interested in the changes. After that, the Minister can make the changes by signing the new strategy. The Minister gets to decide who to talk to about the changes. You can have your say on the proposed changes during the time given. The Minister will make the changes official by signing the new strategy.
