If you are a District Recovery Manager, you will be appointed to help with a territorial authority's district. You will need to co-ordinate the use of resources during a transition period in your district. You must follow any directions given by the Regional Recovery Manager. You will have to do tasks given to you by the Emergency Management Committee or by this Act. You can also do tasks that you are allowed to do under this Act. You can let someone else do your tasks if they are qualified and experienced. If the Regional Recovery Manager gives you a direction, you must follow it. This direction is more important than any other tasks you have to do. If you let someone else do your tasks, you are still responsible for making sure they are done correctly.
