170: Security contracts to be notified in Gazette

You could also call this:

"The Government must tell the public about new or changed prison security contracts in the Gazette."

When a security contract is made under section 166, you need to know that the Minister has to tell everyone about it in the Gazette pretty quickly. The Minister has to write about the contract in the Gazette so people can see it. This also happens when a security contract is changed or renewed.

When a security contract is changed or renewed, the Minister must write about the changes or renewal in the Gazette. You can find this information in the Gazette, which is where official notices are published. The Minister has to do this reasonably promptly, which means they have to do it quickly.
